A brilliant show from the writer of Shakespeare Rocks!
When three technology-obsessed youngsters visit their grandfather, he becomes increasingly frustrated with their disdain for anything other than their phones and the internet.
He reveals a pair of very unusual seven-sided dice that he explains was given to him in the Far East by a wise old mystic.
Despite Grandad's stern warning not to touch the dice because of their magical powers, mischievous Marney scoffs at the idea and rolls the strangely-shaped dice.
As lights flash, thunder claps and eerie, strange noises are heard, the petrified trio are transported to the strange land of Lady Fortune where they become pawns in her games.
Each of them must compete against the devious, devilish diva in a game of their choice to win their freedom and avoid being a game piece in Fortune's land forever!
They encounter many eccentric and humorous board game characters as they embark on their journey: the pompous Stationmasters and the Fleet Street 'hack' Reporters in Monopoly, the defensive suspects in Cluedo and the quarrelling Castles in the final game of Chess.
Can they manage to play the games for REAL and defeat the conniving Lady Fortune?
Will they learn that it's better to ditch the surreal for the real deal?!

Once upon a time… high school got a whole lot more interesting!
A week of rehearsals. A world of imagination. One seriously fairytale-sized adventure!
What happens when happily-ever-after collides with the halls of high school? Welcome to FAIRYTALE HIGH — where storybook legends meet teenage drama, catchy tunes, colourful characters and all-singing, all-dancing fun!
Meet your favourite fairytale characters as you’ve never seen them before! These familiar fairytale favourites are about to discover that the real world doesn’t always follow the script — and that life beyond the pages of a storybook can be every bit as surprising as a little magic.
In a world where fairy godmothers fix everything, princes sweep you off your feet and villains are always easy to spot, reality can come as quite a shock. But in the real world, friendships get complicated, first impressions aren’t always right, and being the hero of your own story takes a whole lot more than a magic wand.
As the worlds of fantasy and reality collide, our characters must decide: is happily-ever-after really all it’s cracked up to be? And what happens when you stop playing the part you’ve been given and start writing your own story?
Designed especially for teens, with a few special spots for our experienced tweens, FAIRYTALE HIGH is a fast-paced musical theatre experience packed with memorable melodies, energetic choreography, larger-than-life personalities and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
And the best part? We’re creating the magic in just ONE WEEK! It’s an intensive, high-energy theatre experience where performers build their skills, make new friends, develop confidence and bring a whole new fairytale world to life.
Whether you’re a natural-born leading lady, a comedy villain, a dancing dynamo or an emerging triple threat, there’s room to find your spotlight.
Forget the glass slippers. Ditch the fairy-tale rulebook. This time, it’s your story.
FAIRYTALE HIGH — where make-believe meets reality, and happily-ever-after gets a high-school makeover!
