You will be nurtured to become the performer you were always meant to be without the stress of competing or exam work. Better still, this class will help you strut your stuff on the big stage in any of our 10 LIVE performances we have annually.

PYT Juniors & SENIORS:
We welcome back: Musical theatre teacher & Choreographer:
MADDY BATTEN
Maddy has been a performer for as long as she can remember. Her outstanding vocals, dance ability and acting skills have earned her multiple awards throughout the years including ‘Most Outstanding Vocal Talent’ ‘Best Actress’ and was the Third Annual Karlee Award Winner for her dedication and leadership within the performing arts. Maddy’s leadership skills awarded her the chance to be Arts Captain for her high school, which offered multiple opportunities to design, choreograph and co-produce many performances and productions for all of the year levels in her school. More recently, Maddy has been choreographer on multiple Perth Youth Theatre holiday theatre schools and has a wide understanding of the world of theatre having performed in and or been on the costume team for over 10 productions in PYT and Platinum Entertainment. Maddy is currently rehearsing for THE WE WILL ROCK YOU EXPERIENCE starring as Killer Queen!
She is excited to challenge the seniors with some modern musical theatre hits like SIX, HAMILTON, MEAN GIRLS, songs from GLEE and DEAR EVAN HANSEN to name a few. Let’s do this!
“Hi team,
Thanks so much for a wonderful term. Emmy has enjoyed it so much. She counts the days till Musical Theatre and wakes up on Fridays super excited because it’s Musical Theatre today.
Can’t wait for next term.”
Trial classes: We do not offer these for various reasons:
New performers in an established group can change the dynamic of the class
In our experience a lot can be gained from more than one class:
Relationships can grow between fellow class mates and educators
Resilience can be developed over a period of time
Team-work is fostered with the same group of people from week week
In the words of Maggie Dent - it's important to 'nurture a spark'. We encourage families to make a commitment for one term at a time.
This encourages resilience | work-ethic | passion | drive | grit | empathy | dedication | relationship
Thank you for your understanding:)
